ENTRANCE OF FOREIGN VESSELS TO VISIT THE COAST AND ISLANDS OF THE ARCHIPELAGO DE COLON (GALAPAGOS), WITH SCIENTIFIC, CULTURAL, TOURIST OR OF ANY OTHER NATURE. |

| 1. |
All foreign vessels that wish to visit Ecuadorian territorial waters, its coasts and islands, are required to obtain a written authorization from the Ministry of National Defence. (D.E. 812, 16-XII-1980, R.O. 346, 29-XII-1980).

| 2. |
The shipbuilders, owners, or captains of ships should present a written request addressed to the Ministry of National Defence or to the Ecuadorian Embassies or Consulates. This request should be conveyed at least with 60 days of anticipation of weighing anchor of the ship.

List with the name of the Captain and crew

|
|

Place and date of departure and arrival

|
|
|
| 4. |
Duration of the visit

|
|

| 5. |
Nature of the expedition

|
|
|
| 6. |
Itinerary of the trip and relation with the activities to be fulfilled
|
|
|
|
| 7. |
List of the names of the sponsors (nationals or foreign) of the trip and their addresses.
|

|
|
| 8. |
List of the participants in the expedition
|
|
|
|
| 9. |
A letter of undertaking to permit the embarkation of the representatives of the National Navy, National Direction of Tourism or other national organizations. The expenses caused by the representatives on their staying on board, transportation or others will be responsibility of the applicant.
|
|
|
|
| 10. |
A commitment to accept and respect the regulations of preservation of National Parks and natural species, which are nominated as national reserves and to repay for the damages that may occur.
|
|
|
|
| 11. |
A commitment to provide the results of the tour to the National Direction of Tourism.
|
|
|
|
For cultural visits in addition to the requirements mentioned above, the sponsorship of the respective foreign government is required
